by designing a semantic multi-layered data model for or an international authority in maritime infrastructure

In the world of offshore wind development, where ultra-complex logistics intersect with high operational stake our client, a global leader in maritime infrastructure set out to transform how heavy lifting operations are planned and executed. With vessels operating under tight schedules and round-the-clock coordination, the need to align business intelligence with real-time execution had become urgent.
They envisioned a smarter more future-ready way to manage operations: a fully integrated digital environment that could unify multi-layered operational data, simulate future scenarios and support decisions with precision. Realising this vision meant bridging enterprise systems with operational technology turning raw data into actionable foresight, to enable this we designed a semantic multi-layered data model that forms the logic core for complex logistical planning. This model interprets and connects information from across business domains finance, logistics, maintenance as well as from operational systems such as telemetry, sensors and control software.
Digital Twin technology serves as the interactive layer, allowing planners and engineers to simulate operations, explore “what-if” scenarios and optimize plans in real time. This isn’t a mirror of the physical world it’s a business-aligned intelligence layer that brings clarity, coordination and combining simulation, predictive modeling and real-time insight. The platform empowers teams to make confident data-driven decisions across technical, contractual, and financial dimensions with full awareness of their consequences.
